Tickets
Where can I buy a ticket, and what does it include?
Buy your ticket on Checkin. Your ticket includes:
- All talks both days
- Lunch both days
- Dinner before the Day 1 party
- Snacks and drinks
- Day 1 evening party
Can I get a refund?
Refunds depend on the terms provided when you bought your ticket through Checkin. To ask about a refund, email hello@hellostavanger.no.
How do I get an invoice?

Can I transfer my ticket or change the attendee name?

Planning your visit
When does check-in open, and can I arrive later?
Doors and check-in open at 08:00 on both days. Check-in stays open throughout the day, so arriving later is fine. See the program to plan your arrival.
How do I check in?
Show the QR code on your Checkin ticket when you arrive. You can show it on your phone; there is no need to print it. Check-in is at the entrance in the morning and moves to the coat room later in the day.
What should I bring?
Bring your ticket on your phone and whatever you like to use for taking notes. You can leave jackets and bags at the venue, so there is no need to carry them between talks.
Where can I store a jacket or bag?
You can leave jackets and bags in the storage area next to Ølhallen 1 and 2. Ask a crew member if you need help finding it.
What happens at the Day 1 party?
After the Day 1 talks, join us at Tou Scene for drinks and a live concert. Party entry, the concert, and drinks are included in your conference ticket. We will reveal the band on Day 1. See the Day 1 program for concert times and location.
When does each day end?
The Day 1 party ends when the concert finishes at 23:00. On Day 2, the final talks finish at 16:10 and the conference is scheduled to close at 16:30. Check the program for the latest timings before planning your journey home.
Food and venue
Is food included in my ticket?
Yes. Lunch on both days, dinner before the Day 1 party, and snacks and drinks throughout the event are included in your ticket. See the food page for details.
Can you accommodate dietary needs and allergies?
Food options will be clearly marked, and we aim to accommodate most dietary needs. If you have an allergy or a specific dietary requirement, email hello@hellostavanger.no before the event so we can confirm what is available for you. See the food page for details.
Where is the venue, and how do I get there?
Hello Stavanger takes place at Tou Scene, Kvitsøygata 25, 4014 Stavanger. The venue page has a map, directions, public transport options, and nearby parking information.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available at the venue.
Is there somewhere I can work?
Yes. There is a work zone in Øst bar if you need to catch up on work during the conference.
Is Tou Scene accessible?
Most of Tou's public areas are accessible, with accessible parking, toilets, ramps, and lifts. Some connections between spaces use a platform lift. If you have questions about access or need assistance, email hello@hellostavanger.no before your visit so we can help you plan. See the venue page for more details.
Talks and recordings
Do I need to reserve a seat for a talk?
No. Talks do not have seat reservations. Saving a talk to Favorites helps you plan your day, but does not reserve a seat.
What language are the talks in?
Will talks be recorded?
We record talks with the speakers' permission and publish them on the Hello Stavanger YouTube channel within 1–2 months of the conference. You can also watch recordings from previous years there.
Will photos be taken, and can I opt out?
Yes. Photographers will be at the conference, and we will share photos after the event. You can email hello@hellostavanger.no before, during, or after the conference with requests about photos of yourself. If you would prefer not to be photographed, let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request. After the conference, you can also ask us to remove a photo of yourself. How do I save talks and find them again?
Select the heart icon beside a talk in the talks list or program, then open Favorites to see your saved talks. Select the heart again to remove a talk. Favorites are saved in your browser and do not sync between devices, so use the same browser and device to find them again.
Getting involved and getting help
How can I volunteer or join the organizing crew?
Help out for up to six hours on one conference day and receive a free ticket for both days. See the volunteer page for roles and sign-up details.
