Design Thinking has been declared irrelevant, unsuitable and dead in many LinkedIn articles. Often the execution of it in development indeed warrants these claims. However, if we look into the original definitions and intentions and adapt the mindset and process, rather than the sticky-notes, awkward icebreakers and faked empathy, there are some fundamental best practices in there for anyone developing new things. This talk will peel back the jargon and look at the pratical process we all can follow to be better at creating things people actually want and need.
