Wardley Mapping is a tool that gained traction in the last few years and has been receiving a lot of attention in the DDD-community. It is a (preferably) collaborative and visual diagramming technique that can help foster better conversations and situational awareness when making decisions in complex environments.
In this presentation we'll start with an introduction to Wardley Mapping for those that are not familiar with the technique. Then we'll move on to talk a little bit about relevant climatic patterns, before diving into how we can combine Wardley Mapping with other methods to increase our situational awareness. We'll see how to use maps to improve our decision making when it comes to architecture, build versus buy and organizational team structure. We'll finish the session with some tips and tricks on how you can get started with mapping yourself.
