Gren: A language for modern software development

Robin is a consultant at Kodemaker, and takes pride in reducing complexity in every project he's involved with. He's the creator of the Gren programming language, and was previously a core contributor to the Elm programming language.

Gren is a new programming language that is functional, staticly typed and pure. It aims to be easy to learn, yet powerful enough to build real-world applications.

Is there room for a new programming language in 2024? If so, what can it provide that isn't already offered by Java, C# and JavaScript?
